Regina Folk Festival organizers are hoping this year's event will be the greenest one yet.
Festival CEO Sandra Butel said they are optimistic a lot of the waste produced at this year's event can composted.
"(We're) working to decrease the waste we produce by 90 per cent," she said.
Butel said organizers found a company in Saskatchewan with the ability to compost lots of waste.
